Outreach & Missions at Deltona UCC

Community Life Center – Deltona UCC takes food donations for Community Life.

“Providing a ‘hand-up’ to the citizens of West Volusia since 1996. They can be found at 1691 Providence Blvd. Deltona, FL 32725 in the Social Services building right next door to the fire station.”

Holy Ground Homeless Children and Families – has a container located in the Deltona UCC parking lot for donation of clothing, furniture and toys that goes to displaced families in Volusia and Flager Counties.

Our Missionary Kristina Schnepf, a member of Youth With A Mission, calls Deltona UCC her home church. Deltona UCC takes a collection for Kristina in her mission to helping people around the globe. She is currently preparing for a years work in India.

Victory Garden – located on our property at 1649 Providence Blvd. is our way of giving back to the community. The garden will provide fresh fruits & vegetables to the community starting Fall 2009.

  Wider Mission Offerings- to lay the tracks that our giving might reach its desintination. When you give to through the church, both local and eomination wide, no money goes to collecion agencies, or pays aminatrative costs for tha particualr mission, as our church's wider mission has stucture in place.

One Great Hour of Sharing – taken the fourth Sunday in Lent, provides help to those in the US and abroad with various needs: health, education, farming, and disaster response.

Neighbors in Need – taken the first Sunday of October, supports projects in the area of justice and compassion throughout the US.

The Christmas Fund – taken the Sunday before Christmas, helps low-income retired church workers with various assistance categories.
